Cannot seem to upload anymore articles!!

Hi
I seem to be unable to upload any articles to the site. I currently have 4 under review and I have attempted to upload several more but it keeps coming back with Check Title.
I even copied a title used by one of my previous articles and only changed one word and it still comes up with Check Title! I cannot understand what the problem could be.

I can't say for sure what the problem is, but you can try re-naming your article. In my experience, it seems that two articles with the same title can't exist in the system.

As in: if one writer uploads a piece called "Easy Macaroni Recipes" then the next writer with that idea has to use a different title...like "Fast and Easy Macaroni Recipes." The actual writing in the pieces isn't the same - nobody's plagiarizing or anything like that - but I've found that renaming my article when I get the "check title" error solves the problem.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. It doesn't matter what I call the article, or even if I submit a completely different article it is still not letting me upload.
I originally called it Working in Child Care, then Working With Children, then Career in Child Care, Then Career in Childcare, then I tried a completly different article, based on one of mine awaiting review Analysis of Iago character from Shakespeares Othello where I changed it to Analysis of Othello character from Shakespeares Othello and still it said Check Title..I am stumped.

That's weird. Either people have already taken those article titles...or I'm totally wrong...or...something else! (My, aren't I just FULL of helpful insights today?)

I'd e-mail support to see if they can help you out. Sorry I don't have a good answer for you.

Update: I had the exact same problem yesterday. No matter what I tried, I kept getting the "check title" error message.

So I finally just left the "submit an article" screen and came back to it (went to the forums or something - don't remember exactly where). After that, I was able to submit the article...though I didn't bother trying my first article title again

Managed to upload another, seems I had been sending them as RTF and it should have been a txt file. I made sure that all my posts were txt files but now they all seem to have disappeared apart from the one I was having trouble with!! This is all a bit like too much hard work this site.
