Hi there, I have had a handful of articles rejected because I had originally published them elsewhere, and uploaded them to CC as usage rights only. CC were unable to tell if I was the original author of the articles and rejected them on that basis. (I have no issue with this and can understand that this policy is in place to prevent plagiarism.)
My question is: If I arrange to have the article unpublished from elsewhere and it no longer appears in Google's search index or Copyscape (i.e. it does not exist elsewhere online), is it:
a) OK to resubmit it to CC
b) OK to resubmit it with 'Full Rights' on it (as at that point it will be original content)

Personally, I wouldn't risk it. You don't want to have your account suspended.

I agree with jak. Once content has been published, it can never be considered as "original," even if you take it down. Once on the net, always on the net.
