Problem with editing title on work awaiting review

if I edit the title field and click Save Changes, the changes are not actually saved. However, when an article is rejected, it is possible to edit this field, but only until the article is resubmitted, after which changes are no longer saved.

I think after it's been accepted by the editors, the title freezes. The only way to edit is to resubmit, but I would only do that if there's a big issue with the title.

I would imagine deleting and resubmitting too much might get on their nerves. It takes from their bottom line. That's not to say "don't do it at allll," but I wouldn't be a chronic deleterer and resubmitterer.

Yes, title freezes after acceptance. However, the system will not save changes to Title after submission but BEFORE editor review. I think this is a bug.

oh, yeah, you could be right. I think I've had to change the title before, but I can't remember!
