sales

Post by audrabianca »

I had a problem today. In the morning, five of my articles were listed as sold in the "Recently Sold Content" page for all authors. Tonight, my articles are no longer on that list. I can see the people who were going to buy them under the "licenses for your content" page. They apparently didn't pay.

Are you all having problems with sales that aren't paid for going to the Recently Sold Content page that everyone sees?

Did you have a user named Snoopy buy a bunch of articles and later return them? I am really confused because I was so happy about these sales. I assumed since they were under the Recently Sold Content everyone sees that they were really sold.

Thanks for any insights that you can provide.

Oh, I forgot to add that I also received 5 emails from support@constant.com that these articles were sold. This is all very strange.

I've got a (sort of) similar problem. On the "Your Content" page one of my articles ("Urinary Tract Infection: How to Prevent Recurring Attacks") is showing as having sold: there's a 1 in the "sold #" column and the "Edit" link isn't available in the last column. However, there's no indication anywhere else that's it's sold: it hasn't appeared as sold in the "Recently Sold Content" covering all authors' sales, nor have I received an email to advise me that it's sold.

All evidence would suggest that it hasn't sold, so I'm not too sure why it's showing as such in the "Your Content" page; unless I'm missing something really obvious here...!

Thanks.

Have either of you contacted support about this issue?

We had another fraudulent order, if your article is still for sale and you show no licenses it was not sold.

The problem seems to have been rectified where my content listing is concerned.

Many thanks.

audrabianca, I was just wondering the same thing. The same snoopy person came and bought an article from me yesterday and now I show today that I have no articles sold ... I thought it was something that I did, but I guess it wasn't me ...

Same thing happened to me. So disappointing as I thought I had my first sale.

Well if that happened to several people, does that mean snoopy was able to access the full articles before returning them? I'm a little concerned that our articles may be getting used without him/her actually paying for them ...

I don't think they get access until the article is actually paid for.

If its a fraudulent order then yes they do, because the credit card passes and then is denied later. So they have access to the articles in that time... However we have yet to see someone actually use the articles that would not be smart because you could file paperwork to get the site banned from Google.

Not a smart move. With that said we may have seen our first one, or it could just be a mistake we are waiting to hear back from the person.
