Public request and messages

Hi,

I'm getting messages a-okay under the private request section but the public area is a little off.

I get the requester's message fine via email and I am notified in the status area of a new message. However when I go to request area to view the message and respond to it there's no notation as to which requester has the open message. When I get a message from a private requester their request has a note saying "New message". The public requester does not. So it's difficult to determine which request has the message.

This has recently become a problem for me, too. I'm sure the requesters think I'm one bolt short of a wagon, but I can't find the original request or determine who posted the reply to my Q/A. Most recently the requester complained that my article didn't show up when he looked for it. I have no way of working with this person since I don't know who he is.

Can you do something about this glitch?
