Oh my gosh, does it mean the part you paste in to show people what your article is about?

Yes, and sometimes when you copy and paste it in there it gets messed up. Just always double check to make sure the formatting still looks right in that little box. For some reason some programs jumble it up or put spaces where there should not be spaces when you copy and paste.

what I do

Post by mskatmoon »

What I do to avoid this, is copy the part I want and copy it to a notepad, a simple text editor. Then highlight it all and copy that and put it in the form at CC. Sometimes Word and other word processors use different formatting (coding, programming that we don't always see) and it messes up things.

It can still get jumbled but it's almost always worked for me.

Thanks to all of you. I had just copied and pasted it always before and they were never rejected so I was trying to figure out what was wrong. Now I know thanks to you all being so helpful. Thanks again.
