articles and blog articles?

Post by The_Anomaly »

I noticed there are blog and regular articles available, but I don't see the difference between them. Do some sell better than others? What's the difference?

I think the difference is that a blog entry is written in a slightly less formal style than an article and it's usually written in the first person. It's more acceptable to put one's point of view across in a blog, I think. In an article you perhaps wouldn't say what you personally thought about, say, taking multi-vitamins, whereas if you wrote a blog about the issue, you would (or could). You would also write a personal account of something as a blog entry. I think. Although having said that, I have also seen some blog entries that, to me, read as articles (and vice versa) -- seems there's quite a fine line!

Not too sure about sales though. I haven't sold that many blog entries, but then most of what I submit are articles.
