I hate to ask this, because it's most likely been asked before and may rectify itself on its own, but I'd just like to know for sure. I used the search and couldn't find anything regarding the same issue.

Yesterday I submitted an article (my first one), and it showed up in my 'Your Content' area as being "under review." I then checked back a few hours later, and any sign of it had dissapeared completely. I re-uploaded it today after it still wasn't showing up, and the same thing happened again.

Am I doing something wrong, or does it simply just not show up while it's being reviewed? It seems like there would be some indication that I have content pending review. I also haven't recieved any notices of rejection, so I'm just confused about it.

Thanks.

So your not receiving a rejection letter, or an approval letter? Do you have any SPAM catching software, maybe our emails to you are being blocked?

Post the article name here and hopefully one of our article approvers will remember it.

Ah, I've found the e-mail in my Junk Mail folder, for whatever reason.

It's been rejected because the long summary was not a full third of the article. I guess I overlooked that necessity. Thanks for your help, I'll re-submit with a longer summary.

EDIT: I'd also like to say I'm impressed by how fast it was rejected...you guys are doing great work here. Hopefully I'll have better luck though with getting my work accepted in the future. :)

Zach,

Unless there is a glitch in the system, which can happen, but rarely, you will either receive an e-mail telling you why your article was rejected or one saying it was approved. Whether or not it is under review, it should still show up in your content. I will take care of this in short order.

We try our best to help all authors with rejections. If you ever have questions about a rejection, please post them in the rejection forum. I try to check it at least one or twice a day.

Thanks for the nice comments. :)
