Copyscape question for Ed

Post by Lauren »

Do you actually "compare text" in Copyscape?

I just ran my latest cell phone accessories article and almost fell over when matches came up. Then when I compared text, it was just that I'd written "cell phone accessories" over and over again (like the website I matched) with no other words matching. Wow, I about died though when I saw those matches! (Slowly ending hyperventilation...)

Haha, I will find out soon enough if you hit that compare text button, when I see if the article gets accepted or rejected!

I look at the Copyscape hits, Lauren. I don't accept or reject without doing so.

Thanks, Ed! It stands to reason that you would, but I think I was just so shocked at seeing something come up (even though it was just matching keywords) that I figured I would ask.

It's very comforting that you are so available to authors. I really appreciate it!

Yeah, nothing to worry about. This happens quite often!
