Isn't it nice....

....when you're log on, glance at the recently sold content, and realise some of yours are on the list!

I still rarely get emailed notifications of sold articles, so it makes a lovely surprise to discover they've gone :)

Rachel,

I know exactly what you mean. It's a wonderful surprise every time an article goes--and even nicer surprise when more than one goes.

Incidentally, did you ever get that problem fixed with your sold articles? I mean, weren't you one of the "most prolific" or something and weren't showing up?

No, it didn't seem to be fixed. However, last time I looked, everyone else had written loads more, so I don't think I'd be classed as prolific any more!! :) It was obviously just a passing moment that's now gone...lol.

Ah, I know the feeling. Last night I submitted an article, and this morning I got an acceptance email. I clicked the link in the email to view my article, and it said "content has been sold." I've never had an article sell that quickly before! :D

So you all are still not getting notifications when your articles sell?

For me it's kind of a hit or miss thing. I get them most of the time, but not always.

No, I very rarely get notifications. Funnily enough, I did get one notification yesterday, which was quite a rare occurrence, but didn't get anything for the other two pieces that sold.

Chris,

I get the odd e-mail telling me that an article has sold, but not for all of them. It really doesn't bother me, as I usually see them on the sold content list before I check my e-mail, but others seem to like notification.

If I wasn't logging on regularly, then it would be especially nice to get the notifications and know that articles were selling (and it might make me come back more). As it is, it's quite nice accidentally discovering things have sold!

I get notices less than half the time. I personally don't mind, since I'm here several times throughout the day and don't mind checking myself. However, like Rachel said, if I wasn't able to log in frequently, I could see how getting notices would be more of a priority.

I'm hear several times throughout the day, as well, so it doesn't bother me either. Sometimes I get them. Sometimes I don't. I just get so happy when I check the solds and see one of mine there.
