Newbie Article Rejection

Post by chausiku »

I tried to post an article today called 'A Dollar Well Spent' which I thought was suitable for a 'requested content' that read: 'I recently started a blog entitled "Making a Difference With 20 Dollars or Less" and I have been writing short articles describing ways people (mainly college students) can make a difference in their community...' It was rejected because it had 'author content information', which I understand - the file had a header which I forgot to remove - but also because it was 'a short story'. What makes a 'short story'? This was a first person anecdote, true in every detail.

This person requested articles that advise college students how to make a difference. A personal narrative does not offer that information.
