Tips for submitting Articles
Since the last one didn't work out they way I planed I'll do this one a little different. The last one I just picked the first person to write something, since I didn’t want people writing something and not getting paid. That didn’t seem to work because a bunch of people submitted anyway.... So this time I’ll just pick the best of who ever submits.
I need a Tips for Submitting Articles.
Tips should include:
Be sure to choose a category
If you want to add a new category select the main section (articles, tutorials, reviews) and the recommend a sub.
If your unsure of the word count of your articles there are programs that will count for you. These programs are:
Windows:
http://www.globalrendering.com/download.html
Macintosh OSX
http://www.supermagnus.com/mac/Word_Counter/
What ever else you all use
Describe Usage and Unique prices
Explain that it is up to the writers to sell their own article so be sure to include as much information as you can. We recommend adding 3-4 paragraphs so the customer can really see what they are buying. No one is going to steal half a article.
Winner gets $20

Okay, I'll go first, but that doesn't mean I don't get to win!
Tips for Submitting Articles
Welcome to Constant Content! Take a few minutes to look around and familiarize yourself with the site. Check out the Recently Sold Content link to see what’s hot, and make sure you take a look at the Requested Articles section.
When you are ready to start writing, just click on the Submit An Article link. There you will be asked to fill in the title of your article, choose the category it should be listed under, and give an approximate word count.
Make sure you choose the most appropriate category for your work, so buyers can find your articles. After selecting a main category, if you feel that your piece does not quite fit within a particular subsection, we have included a space for you to suggest a subcategory. We would love to hear your ideas, so don’t be shy about making suggestions.
The word count is just an approximate count, but we would appreciate it is close. If you don’t know how many words your article contains, we don’t expect you to count each word. There are several solutions.
Try these:
Windows:
http://www.globalrendering.com/download.html
Macintosh OSX
http://www.supermagnus.com/mac/Word_Counter/
If you have Microsoft Word, click on “tools” in the upper left tool bar and you will find a word count feature. It will count the words in the entire file, or the words in whichever section you highlight. Most word processing programs include a word count feature.
If all else fails, you can count the number of words in an average sentence and multiply that number by the total number of lines in your piece to arrive at an approximate count.
After the word count, you will be asked to name the amount you would like to receive for your article. Remember that your fee will equal half of the purchase amount, so price your work accordingly.
The first space is for a “usage” or a one-time use price. If you sell your piece in this manner, you will be able to sell it again. If your article is free, put zero in this space.
The next space will ask you to name a “unique” or exclusive rights price. Once you sell an article exclusively, the buyer owns it. It will then be archived, and you will not be able to sell it again.
Next, you will be asked to give a sample of your article. Develop a short synopsis and type or paste it into the first box. In the next box, offer a few paragraphs or key lines from your article, so the buyer has a good idea what he or she is getting.
It is up to you to convince the buyer that your work is something that he or she can use, so be as descriptive and creative as possible. Don’t be afraid to post three or four paragraphs so the buyer can really get a feel for your style and content.
Don’t worry, buyers don’t come here to steal a couple of paragraphs, they come here to buy quality content, and they want to know what they are paying for. They also want to get their money’s worth, so be sure you proofread carefully before uploading your work.
Finally, you will be asked to upload your files. It is up to you what types of files you offer, but the more options you make available, the better chance you have of selling your articles.
