Do authors here sell non-requested articles also, or does it only pay to submit requested articles? Hope that hasn't been asked already. Thank you so much for such a great site.
Warm regards, Susie
Just wondering

can sell either way
I have sold article both from requests and also when mine was not accepted, later it got purchased by someone else. I have not sold a lot by far, but it ALWAYS a great suprise when you wake up in the morning and see you have sold article, whethere you just wrote them or wrote them months ago...warm fuzzy feelings!
Thanks so much for replying,
Beaches and Rachel. Most appreciated. That really helps a lot. Hope we all get that warm, fuzzy feelings quite often.

I focused primarily on requested content for a long time, until I realized that writing unrequested articles is important, too. As CC grows, more customers just come on the site, search, and buy what's already there. If you keep an eye on what types of topics are selling, you can sell a lot of articles that weren't necessarily "requested." About half of the articles I've sold in the past week were unrequested. I just wrote about topics that seemed to be selling.
Thanks so much,
Southernrose, that's very helpful! Most appreciated and a big thanks.
