Mental exercise, anyone?

Post by grouchy »

Greetings -- You may have read about a new book called "Not Quite What I Was Planning," a compilation of six-word sentences some well-known and maybe not so well-known people have composed to describe their lives. (Example: Hemingway, "For sale. Baby shoes. Never worn." And another, "Patience for two children. Have three.") Some are funny, some are sad, but they are all only six words.

What say we try our hand at six words that describe our writing life, desires, goals, history etc.? I think it could be amazing. It can be ongoing - you add one when it strikes you. And it doesn't have to be publishable quality - just whatever comes to mind. And don't worry about punctuation - Ed will have to bite the bullet over any run-on sentences.

I'll start: Nancy Drew the best. Idea born.

C'mon now. Let's try to get at least six up here every day.
