What are the blog posts writing guidelines?

Post by marianexpress »

Hi Ed,

I was interested in submitting blog entries for sale. Where can I find the writing guidelines for the blog posts?

Thanks and regards,
Mariana

There aren't any on the site. It's important to remember that blog entries should contain useful information for the reader and should not be in first-person point-of-view. That's about it. Pretty much the same guidelines as regular articles. The way blogging has evolved, I really don't distinguish blog entries from regular articles. People have blogs in order to share information, attract readers, and make money - the same way as any other website.

Thanks,
Ed

Thanks Ed :-)

As a piece of advice, how many words do you think a blog entry should have?

Hi Marian. Don't know if this will help, but when I've been asked to guest blog, it's been for around 600 words.

Thanks jak, I appreciate your input. 600 words seem ok for web reading.

Will get to work, then!

Cheers,
Mariana
