Getting same password for site login and forum

When I go into My Profile, I see a section that sends "change password." I want to be sure I keep the password I have for site entry, just change the randomly generated password for the forum. Or can I click on the remember me button and my random password will be automatically entered? Replies from admin have been in the right spirit but haven't helped on this one.

To change your forum pw, log in then click on User Control Panel in the top left corner.

Next, click on Profile, then Edit Account Settings.

There you can change your PW, time stamp, signature I think etc.
