The word count is per "article" not per "page". There is generally never any specific requirement with regards to how many 'pages' it should be.

thank you so much. i'm sorry i've just opened this site coz up to now still finding my way around. by the way, can you help again? i wrote support re my sold article. i was asking if i can keep track of my to be sold articles in the future and how will i be able to know or see again my artickles. but up to now, no response yet or maybe it was the wrong forum i don't know. basically how can i keep track of my articles and what are these licences for? any help from anyone of you will be deeply appreciated. i can't just write and write and post articles without any assurance. thanks again. good day.

Your profile lists all the articles that are still for sale. Licenses for your content lists everything you have sold, with the price, customer and license sold. Click on these in the list below your name on the left hand side of the CC screen.

You can also keep track of ALL your articles on CC (sold, submitted, and for sale) by choosing Your Content in the left-hand menu, as well.

thanks DSWaltenburg. but i can't find it anymore. it's empty. still no response from support. i have no more proof. i felt like a part of me was stolen and i can't do anything about it.

Where do I start?
It seems that I cannot find the answers to these general questions: Where do I submit my articles? Is there a place where I can see the customers' requested articles? I have just registered and still just finding my way through here. Thanks for the help.

Once you are signed into CC, there's a menu bar on the left with all of the various options including "Submit Article" and "Requested Content." You must be signed in as an Author to see these links.

Hi. I recently submitted my first article, and I hit a snag when I came to the part of the form that asks for "keywords." Is this meant for keywords that would help someone searching for content on the site, or is it a place to list SEO keywords that are contained in the article?
I used a combination of both for my first submission. I searched the forums first and couldn't find anything. Clarification would be greatly appreciated.

The "Writer's FAQ" link actually goes to the main FAQ list for customers: "Why should I purchase content?" and the like.

I am not sure what you mean. You can submit articles at any time you like, there is no limit, or closing date to submit articles generally.
If you are talking about responding to requests, the customer can close the request at any time, which may be only a day or two after putting the request out there, if there are many responses. Requests now have a closing date as well, which can be viewed by seeing the requested articles page after you log in. This is the date that the request will automatically be deleted from the request list, if the customer does not close the request sooner.

As a newcomer, I would focus on writing quality articles on a variety of different topics to build up a portfolio first. There is a lot of competition for requests, and unless you can get articles written and approved very quickly, you may miss out. However, practice in meeting the submission guidelines here at CC helps, as you will have less chance of the article you have written in response to a request being rejected due to a submission guideline error, such as using the wrong font.
Also, not every customer requests articles. Many will browse through the latest articles to see what is out there and others will search for the specific topic of interest. This means that articles will sell at some point, even if no-one particularly requested the articles.
Once you have settled in, try responding to a new request that catches your eye, within a day or two of the request appearing. If you try to submit to a public request, and the request does not appear in the drop down menu on the submission page, the request has been closed by the customer. You can still submit the article as a normal article, placing it under the appropriate category and sub-category, but untick the Is this for a request box. The article, if approved, will then be available for any customers to purchase.

Hello,
Thank you for such a helpful thread. I'm new and have not yet written anything. Are there templates for how we should write our content? For example, Demand Studios has specific outlines for writing a "how-to" or "about" type document. Do we just format the structure however we see fit?
