I once had some SQL problems because my .net framework was corrupted. Other than that, it's always been server-side.

Yes, I think your right about it been a server problem. An update I managed to submit one of my articles a few hours after, so whatever it was that was the issue is fixed at the moment, but its a good idea to contact support I think. In answer to your question Celeste Stewart, there was only a break of about a couple of seconds when we tried to submit our articles after starting the submision process.
