Hi--my name is Cicily, and I'm new to this site. I'm from Massachusetts, where I work as a writer and book cataloger from my white elephant of a second-Empire Victorian (dead ringer for the Bates motel, in case you need help visualizing). I've posted one article, which disappeared (and, no, there was no rejection in my spam folder). I resubmitted it three days ago, and I'm waiting to see what happens before I try any more articles. From what I can glean from the forums, three days seems like longer-than-normal, especially for a request, but I'm going to be patient. I like this site--it seems to be a nice community, and an on-the-level way to make a little $$$. I'm not sure why I'm having problems, but I'm sure once I get going, things will progress smoothly.
One question, though: I was browsing through the list of authors, and I noticed that quite a few have questionable user names (like TastyTits96), and when you go to the web site associated with the author, it's a porn site. This seems to me to compromise the integrity and professionalism of the site. Anyone care to comment on this?

I remember accepting your article several days ago; I don't know what happened to it. So--apologies. I have just accepted it again, so hopefully this time you will get notification.
The forum users are not always the same as the authors on CC, and we have had problems in the past with mischief-makers in the forum. Most customers don't make an appearance in the forums, and none of the people with improper names post, so you're the first one who has said anything.

As for my author question, I'm not talking about anyone in the forums section. I'm talking about the "Memberlist" which can be reached from the main area of the site. Specifically, for example, http://constant-content.com/forum/membe ... &start=500 (that's the page I'm on--in some questionable company). Check out some of those usernames and websites.

Welcome Cicily. Congrats on having your article accepted. That member list is a forum member list, not a list of authors. I think most of the customers buying from C-C are probably very familiar with the "people" who use message boards to sell their "products". I doubt they would hold that against C-C. I agree it would be embarrassing if those names were found in the list of authors, found here http://www.constant-content.com/authors/.
