Submission for private request

Post by MeggieHardy »

Hello;
It's me again.

I'm trying to submit for a private request (same customer as last time). When I go to submit, I don't see her name listed, however, she did request through communication with CC.

She has requested five articles. In the "private request section,' I see a heading "five articles requested,' and am wondering if this may be her but I don't want to designate this without being certain. These are home decor articles.

I don't know how/where to submit.

When I submit without selecting one of the names, it won't accept it because it keeps calling for a "usage price," and this is "full rights" only. There is no place to uncheck.

Advise?

Yes - the "5 articles" Private Request is for your request.

When a private request comes through your account, it is listed in the drop down along with all the public ones, usually at the top. Only you will see the private ones listed here, the rest of us won't. The title will match whatever title the customer typed in. So, go to Requested Content and look in your Private Request list and note the title. In my list, there's no "Five Articles Requested" so I'm guessing that's what your customer entered in her private request title field.

As for the usage price field, you have to put a number there. Even though it's a private full rights request, put a price there. For example, if your full rights price is $100, do this:
Usage: $100
Unique: $100
Full Rights: $100

Thanks Celeste. I appreciate the clarification. I'll get the hang of this yet!

Meggie,

Please always fill out the submission form so that your customer knows what he or she is purchasing. If the customer has requested that your excerpt not be shown, please include this information in the short summary or content details.

Thank you!
