I think I read somewhere that we can have links as long as they are relevant to the article. I read the guidelines and it says "if you must..remove http://www. This isn't a link for promotion. It's a link to describe a process, and it's only one link that points to a google page.
I just want to make sure that this is ok?

This is okay as long as the guidelines for removing the prefix are followed, and as long as the address does not appear as a link in your article.
