Question regarding offers

I've gotten a few offers on some articles that I don't want to take. I'm trying to take a needed break, but I'm not sure if offers automatically go through if they aren't rejected by the author. Is there a specific amount of time given to reject an offer before it automatically goes through? Or do offers just sit there until you respond? The offers I get are way below what I would ever give them up for, so I want to make sure they don't go through, but I'm trying to take a little writing break.

Hi Lysis,

Offers just sit until the author responds. We only sell articles at the price that you've agreed to, so until you've agreed to the price, the customer can purchase the articles at the previously set price or else wait until you respond.
