How Do Buyers Find CC?

I was just wondering how buyers find out about CC? I can't even remember how I found it.

I believe that CC advertises in select webmaster communities.

We also attend and show case the site at a number of industry conferences, Affiliate Summit West, SMX Advanced so far this year and in the near future Affiliate Summit East. But if you've got some more ideas for places that you think our marketing budget could be well spent, let me know!

I was wondering if CC has a standard press release that I might send out to the newspapers, SBA, and Chambers in my area? If every author on here did that, think how widespread the word would be! (If the media chose to publish it of course). I think my little neck of the woods business community would like to know where they could get top notch web and newsletter articles, and since I can't write on every subject out there, I'd love to introuduce my region to all these fine CC authors.

That's actually a great idea Debbi! I will look into getting some material put together for to help authors promote not only their work but the site.

Wow, I think that's an awesome idea, too. I'd be very willing to promote CC in my necks (university and home) of the woods!

Do you also approach specific website owners through email? I know a few who are definitely purchasing content from certain sites so they would probably be receptive to hearing about CC.

There's a wealth of talented writers on CC that might come up with some great press release ideas. How about putting out a public request?
