Complaint: Author name not included in unique purchase

Post by damyanti »

My article: Bioni Bespoke: Bonding with the best was bought for unique rights by the site www.lifeinitaly.com, but they have not published my name.Could you ask them to either publish my name or pay me the price of fullrights?
Awaiting your response,

I had a similar issue with another customer that I discovered and CC is looking into it.

Just today I sold one for usage to yet another customer (different than yours or the one I had earlier) and they have deleted my name as well. I realize their budget was only in the $20 range but they are using a $40 exclusive and only paying $20 for it. I don't really care if my name is on it or not but it isn't fair to the customers who pay the premium for the right to use articles exclusively.

While I like to think this is just an oversight on the customers part, I hate to see that it keeps happening. I never really checked before and I don't want to have to do that. Anyone have any ideas?

I had this problem, I think we are still waiting to hear from the author of the website for mine. It wasn't the italy one though.

I am still waiting for an answer on this. Though this customer is purchasing a lot of article, I am scared to post any more for fear I will be cheated again. Is someone at constant-content looking at this please?

I really don't think customers are trying to cheat the system, especially when they purchase so many articles. It's probably either an oversight, they clicked the wrong box, or they may have intended to keep the byline but in adding so many articles to their website they may have forgotten -- or they may even have someone else posting who didn't know. Call me naive I suppose :) but that's what I like to think!

Hopefully they'll get a friendly reminder from CC and make it up to us....
