public requests

Is the approval time now longer for public requests?

Not that I've noticed. Did the requester possibly remove the request after you submitted the article? - Phil

I submitted yesterday at 2:30. The request is still open. Usually if Ed does not get to it the same day, he gets to it early on the next day.

I think that 3-day weekend really slowed things down, plus there were a lot of public requests in the last week.
