Including Links When The Request Specifically Asks For Them

Hi there! I've been a member of CC for awhile and I've re-read the terms of use and I just wanted to check on this:

I received a recent request (I assume many others have seen it as well), asking for an article that follows a format of "the top 10 blogs/forums/twitter users" for DIY home improvement, and the requester has outlined the format that he/she wants the writer to follow - listing all of these different websites with small descriptions of each.

I saw that the FAQ says you can't include links unless a person specifically requests them, which this person has, but I've also read that you can't include links at all. So I just wanted to make sure before I submit my article that I am indeed able to embed links in this type of situation.

I have outlined 10 influential DIY homeowner blogs, forums, etc, and I'm not sure it's much use to the requester or readers if there are no URLs to follow and only titles!

Any information anyone has to clear this up is much appreciated, and it'll help in the future too for articles similar to this. Thanks, everyone!!

When a customer specifically requests links, they are allowed. Just put a note to Ed in the short summary that says "links included by request." I imagine Ed is already aware of this particular request but that line helps remind him.
