First Article Rejection

Post by conev »

My first article, Great Gifts for Shoe Lovers, was rejected saying it needed to be revised before it would be accepted. Could someone tell me more specifically what needs to be revised. I'm new here, and still trying to understand how things are done.

I would really appreciate any help you could give me.

Hi Conev,

Writers at CC need to find their own errors generally, but if you want someone to have a quick look at the article and give you some pointers, I can help you out this time. Send the article to me on the email system through CC (click on my author profile HayleyWriter and then click on the "send this author a message" link.

Kind regards,

Hayley

Hayley Writer

Thanks for your offer to help. I really appreciate it as I have very little idea about what they look for here and what the problem might be. I went to your profile, but it won't let me click on Contact Hayley Writer. Do you have any idea why or am I doing something wrong?

Your rejection notification provides the reason for rejection beyond "this article needs to be revised." Though your article was published elsewhere, the uniqe rights price was filled in. Please review our licensing structure before submitting any more articles to Constant Content.

Thank you,

Thank you for your help, Ed. I thought I had that part correct, but I couldn't find the information on it, so I checked it, too. Sorry about that. I will be more careful in the future. Can I just go ahead and resubmit it then?

Thanks,
Conev

A grid that explains the licensing system can be found at the bottom of this page:

Before resubmitting, please check that your article conforms to our guidelines.

It's also always important to read the article again for any errors that were potentially missed on previous read-throughs.

Thanks,
Ed
