Hi there, new member here. I've managed to find answers to most of my questions by browsing this forum so far, but I couldn't find anything on this.
My question concerns a specific request but I'm not going to give details about it, as I'm not sure that's appropriate. Anyway, the client is asking for a landing page, advertising a product. Looking at the writer guidelines, wouldn't writing such an article directly contradict with the "No Promotional content" rule, and somewhat with the "No POV" one?
In relation to the above, will an article get accepted if it breaks the above rules, if the article is for a request?
Thanks
Question about a certain request

Re: Question about a certain request
If the customer has asked for deviations from the guidelines, it is okay to do so, as long as that article is submitted to the request through the request system.

However, our guidelines specify that we do not accept content that uses the first-person point-of-view (POV), and if the customer has not specifically asked for a first-person POV article, then it isn't appropriate to use this POV. Customers may occasionally ask for personal narratives, but they don't do so often.
Thanks,
Ed
