Any word from Ed?

Post by Celeste Stewart »

Ed, are you out there? Just hoping you're okay and not down with a nasty virus or stuck in a snowstorm.

I was getting a little anxious myself, but had a private request acceptance this morning.

Sure hope you're okay, Ed. Are we being too clingy?

My pendings were accepted this morning too, but I am haunted by an image of an ailing Ed crawling to the keyboard..."Must....edit....articles....They....are...counting...on..me...." Ed, hope you are okay, please rest up if you need to!

Hi Writers,

Thanks for the concern and sorry for being unavailable. I was away for a couple of days and expected to be able to check in. Turned out I was wrong. Working on getting back on track.

Welcome back Ed,

You probably NEEDED a day (or 2 or 3) away from the grind - glad to see you're safe and sound!

btw (if you don't mind my asking) how many reviews do you average a week?

Yes, indeed the rest was welcome. Hundreds of articles are reviewed each week!

Glad you were taking a few days for yourself. I figured the storm knocked out your Internet or the swine flu got you.

Not yet. I'm really touched by the concern though. :)

Thanks Ed for getting your nose to the grindstone so quickly. You are amazing! This place might fall apart without you around. WG

Ed

Welcome back - glad to hear you're not laid low.

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, and if I'm still in line waiting for my articles to be reviewed, then no problem. It's just that I've had a public request in the review stage since 2 December (it's the Olympics tickets one). I'm wondering if it might've been 'overlooked'...? Anyway, like I say, if it hasn't and I'm just waiting in line with everyone else then that's fine, but I just wanted to mention it in case something strange has happened.

Many thanks.
