Who buys articles?

As a newby, I have found myself curious about who is buying the articles on CC. Requests seem to come in all shapes and sizes. I have also noticed some of the requests from customers seem a little vague and even inarticulate at times. Is there a general sense of where material goes?

The answer is as varied as the Internet itself! The articles go all over the Web, in ezines, and print. Some content is strictly for Web sites such as Home pages, About Us pages, etc. Others are product descriptions. Others are interesting and informative articles. Others are interactive quizzes. Others go on blogs. I've even written copy for brochures and post cards.
