As in computer files. My computer's hard drive was hit last weekend, we think by a virus, and it's a little soon to say but I probably lost whatever I had on there. Thankfully I had finished and submitted current assignments, backed up most of my stuff on a flash drive, and could access other finished work via our email program since I send all of my articles to my husband at work (lunch hour) to review.
I think I remember Celeste and others mentioning online backup sites one could use for this purpose. I meant to follow up on those suggestions after reading that thread, but of course I didn't.

Yep, I use iDrive. It's free (up to 2 GB) and automatic! Turn on the "continuous protection" (or similar wording) option and it will automatically upload new documents and revisions! I used it the other day to revert to a slightly older version of a spreadsheet.

Agreed, backups are so relatively easy to do and the information once it is gone, is gone for good. It is so disappointing to lose your work!!
