Your rejections

Post by Volante »

Dear fellow writers,
I'm curious to know about how many times have you guys/girls had your articles rejected.
I read around that the limit to one's account is 3 rejections. Does that mean that the more established authors who published hundreds of articles have only been rejected less than thrice? That's really an admirable feat i reckon with cc's standards!
Personally, i just had my first article rejected. So does that mean 2 lives left for me before its game over? :?

The three rejection rule is somewhat flexible. I'm sure I've had more than three articles rejected over the years, but the overall percentage of rejected articles is extremely low.

I've had one rejection, for the second article I submitted. I spelled banister with two "n"s instead of one, and I had a problem with subject-verb agreement. And since then, I make darned sure in every article I write, every subject agrees with every verb.

Try not to let the rejection get you down. Just see it as Ed giving you the opportunity to improve your writing. As long as you take that opportunity, you should be fine.

Yeah I just had my first article approved. Feels awesome!
Hopefully, this is the start of a fruitful relationship with CC.

Awww. The customer didn't select my article. Hopefully it sells once it gets to the public!
