Question about editing

Post by Alychic »

Hello,

First of all I would like to thank Ed and whoever else is behind the scenes here at constant content, they do an incredible job and I am very happy to be a part of it. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of excitement, learning curves, and immense enjoyment, and I hope I can continue here successfully. Now for the second part..

While I am publishing and selling my articles (I have sold two so far!), I do get my articles rejected semi frequently. There will be things like semicolon usage, or improper use of tense. I am very frustrated with myself, because I feel like I have perfected the piece after going over and over it before submitting it. I want to have article submitted right away, so I wonder if there is a better way I could be editing myself? Are there some sort of tips or tricks that can help catch these errors so that I am producing clean content every time? I'd really appreciate anybody's input on this as this is all relatively new to me.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to CC! After four years here, it's still exciting to me :)

Here's a thread (Self Editing for CC Success) that may help:

Hi Aly!

My daughter's name is Alyssa and she uses Aly as her skate name, Alysylum actually (she's a roller derby girl in Sacramento). Welcome and congrats on your sales :)

How about posting a picture of Charlie here?
