SEO-Friendly

Post by Volante »

Hey everyone, what does an article need to include in order to be 'Search engine optimization' friendly?
Would appreciate clarification on the matter.
Thanks :)

Hi Volante,

I'm a newb here, but thought I'd take a stab at answering your question.

SEO (search engine optimization) is changing as the search engines get smarter, but here are a few easy things you can do:

1. Every 400-500 word article should concentrate on a single keyword phrase.
2. Use the keyword phrase in your title, preferably at the beginning.
3. Use the keyword phrase in a sub-heading, preferably at the beginning.
4. Use the keyword phrase in the introduction, conclusion, and once or twice in the main body.
5. Make sure what you write about is closely associated with the keyword phrase.

That said, your first priority should be to make your article readable by humans. Anything you do for SEO should be invisible to them.
