New author and submitting to a public request
Thisis my first day here and I submitted an article to a public request - how long before it is okayed (which I hope it will be)? And can I submit to other public requests in the meantime?
Re: New author and submitting to a public request
Depends on Ed's load, but I have found public request reviews are really quick...sometimes within hours, but that experience was during the work week.
Make sure you've read the policy on file format (text and spacing) to save yourself that problem of a bad format rejection.

Thanks Lysis. Sounds quick -- I had visions of it taking days!

So public requests take priority over non-requested submissions? The non-requested gets put on a back burner? I guess it makes sense. I wish I knew that before I submitted my other 3 articles.

Yep. Makes sense, but yeah, we random article writers need to wait.
