Probably a stupid question...

Post by ecdoran »

But that's not stopping me :) I submitted an article that was accepted, but I noticed a small error (a typo) when I looked back at it. I quickly deleted it, but am I allowed to resubmit it once I've edited it again? I know you can delete them and resubmit them before Ed looks at them, but what about resubmitting them afterwards?

You can resubmit, but make sure you include a note to Ed in your summary that he has previously approved the article. For example, after your summary, add something along the lines of "Note to Ed: This is a previously approved article with typos in the 3rd and last paragraphs fixed." Then once it's approved, remove that note.

HTH!

Thank you so much! I never would have thought to leave a note. Silly me, I keep forgetting that one person has to wade through all of our submissions :)

You see, there is no such thing as a stupid question.

Only stupid people? :) That's what my big sister used to lovingly tell me...

You're welcome! It makes me feel better about asking knowing that other people are wondering the same thing.

Unless you were making fun of me. In which case you are exactly like that sister :D

That's the worst of writing on forums. I wrote sincere; you read sarcastic. Definitely wasn't making fun of you!

Hooray for sincerity! I have a sarcastic family and always have trouble deciding whether a text message is sincere or sarcastic :) I need more practice!

How about "I'll accept it as sincere unless otherwise proved."

That works, too :) Who doesn't love the benefit of the doubt?
