Why isn't my name found on author search?

I just joined CC last night and am planning on doing some medical/health writing. I've added a short bio in my profile. However, just as a double check, I searched for my pen name in the author section, but could not find myself. How long does it take for my pen name to be searchable? Or does this happen only after I've actually posted an article? Thanks.

Your bio will show up once you've either submitted an article or had one accepted. I can't remember which, but I know if your bio says you have 0 articles, it won't show up in the Author search.
