I'm wondering how to realistically pace article submissions. I have a lot of pent up writing to release since I've been trying to break into writing for several years now and have a lot in my computer to repurpose. I've already sold about 7 here in a 2 month period which I'm grateful for. I also don't have another paying job and want to make writing fulltime.
But, I have seen it can take a long time for articles to be reviewed before being placed in the pool, thus limiting my offerings obviously, and limiting my sales income. I understand that the editors must have their hands full but it is frustrating to see opportunities but have this wait period. Can you give me any input?

Re: Pacing submissions
Just submit regularly and you'll have a steady supply of articles regularly being posted on the site. For example, if you post three articles per day, by the end of the month you'll have 90 articles submitted with just the last few days' worth still under review. Also, keep in mind that if you submit to a public request, those articles are prioritized because a customer is waiting for them, so the review time is dramatically shorter than for repurposed submissions.

Don't worry about overwhelming Ed. Just put them up as fast as you can get them ready. Ed will get through them sooner or later. He can't read articles in your computer right? He must be catching up right now because he even approved a Santa Claus article for me today.
