I'm not new, but I do have a question about something new that's happened.
I sold an article, usage rights only (I even gave the buyer a break on the price).
The buyer is nice and all, gave me a bio and everything and linked me to the piece.
The problem (I think)...The buyer is attempting to sell my piece on their website. That's how people can read it (only the intro is shown), they either buy a subscription to the publication (which is fine) or they can purchase my article. Is this okay? It doesn't seem right to me.

Re: Usage Sales
That doesn't sound right to me. I'd contact support and let them take a look at how the article is being used. Sounds like a full rights license may be in order.

Re: Usage Sales
Interesting - Was this for the wellness/health public request? I also sold a usage rights article to a wellness e-zine, and was credited etc. however this website seems to be selling my article to others at $2 - this can't be right for a usage license.
I came down on the price too
Let me know how you get on, I think I'll Email support too.

Re: Usage Sales
the very same.
Re: Usage Sales
I have contacted the buyer and they have agreed to stop selling it. It was simply a confusion on the rights to usage that they had with the article. Let me know if you see any more misuse of the articles.
