Question regarding pay per article

Okay this may seem like a silly question to ask, and I've probably confused myself, but as a new writer I was wondering about the pay per article that is noted on each request detail page. If a customer sets the amount as $100-$150 but they want 3 articles, does that mean that they are seeking to pay that amount for the 3 total or each. It seems that some of the customers are a bit confused as am I (evident in detail pages) when they set the pay amounts.

Most of the time the price is per article but some will put a range in the price range and then specify a price in the details so read carefully.

The price ranges are preset ranges to pick from. Sometimes the buyer specifies a budget in the request. Sometimes the budget range is for a group of articles - just use common sense and appropriate pricing.
