Spaces between sentences?

Is there a requirement for the number of spaces between sentences? Thanks.

The normal modern 1 space is usual and acceptable. I'm not sure if the traditional 2-space is OK as I've never used it, but I think it is.

Yep, two spaces are also accepted. That's what I use - I'm a traditionalist.

2 spaces for me too. I learned to type on a typewriter and never got out of the habit.

HTML doesn't recognize extra spaces, so once the article goes up on a web page it's all one space between sentences anyway.
