Strange message
Did anyone else receive a message, purportedly from a customer, trying to SELL you articles?

Cheers, Celeste. Looks like we've been bombarded.

Re: Strange message
Jak,
I have received messages from Basil at Support saying that the person who sent the messages has had his account suspended, so hopefully it won't happen anymore!
Kind regards,
Hayley

Thanks Hayley. Actually, I thought messages were moderated here, but I suppose that even if they are, with the high volume, some things are bound to slip by.

I never got that message? Now I feel left out. Maybe it was my aftershave...
Re: Strange message
Even stranger now. A customer with the same name has posted a request for 1500 word articles for which he will pay $250! I wonder?

Re: Strange message
Yeah, I was suss about that one too. I wonder if he just wants our ideas and then will send the long summaries to article spinners and will never actually purchase. I hate being cynical, but...
I hope CC will watch that request closely to protect authors.

Re: Strange message
Darn, I had started an article to submit to that request. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical of it...no purchase rating and such a high pay rate, but thought there was no harm in trying as it is a good topic that will likely sell to somebody at some point. Now, I am wondering if I should submit to this request. Any suggestions?
Re: Strange message
I'd say that it wouldn't hurt to write the article. Not because this customer will buy it... seems rather fishy. But, like you were saying, it is a high-demand kind of article that someone is bound to buy sooner or later. Just be careful how much you post in your article preview so the guy doesn't steal it. And, probably don't set a $250 price tag (or drop the price after a few weeks if the guy doesn't buy it).
Remember, you can always break the article into smaller articles and sell them separately.
