Pay Day...?

Hey, I'm relatively new here and have sold two articles in the past couple weeks. I checked the box for semi-monthly payments, and I've yet to get paid. I hate to sound impatient, but is there a certain, definte day that my account balance will be charged to my paypal? Normally I wouldn't press this issue, but my boyfriend continues to insist this site is a scam, and the day I get the money is the day I get to say "I told you so- now be happy for me!" (a phrase I generally avoid, but we all have to indulge ourselves occassionally).
Any answer/advice is, as always, greatly appreciated.

We usually get paid around the 1st and the 15th depending on when those dates fall. Sometimes payday is delayed a day or two due to weekends or holidays.

Don't forget Canadian holidays. Canadians have more holidays than U.S. Senators.

Summer, have your boyfriend drop by the forum and just browse awhile. This is the first writing site I've been on where you can BOTH get paid decently AND talk to real people. Some sites have one or the other...

Just a heads up, to get paid bi-monthly you need to set up your author account for that. We love our holidays in Canada
