Forum software glitches?

I think these belong in this section... Apologies if they don't.

I've tried to change my profile so the forum displays differently. The profile is showing FI Black, but the display hasn't changed any. The profile is also showing my old user name, which I've tried to change at least twice. And my signature's not being displayed in my posts, even when I have that box checked at the bottom of the post. Are some of these features disabled?

I'm not new to this kind of forum software; a couple of other sites I belong to use it. I'm just wondering if there's something different about this version.
