Hopefully I have the right section.
I just want to clarify a few things with the licensing before I go ahead and put my article in for approval.
Now, there are the three levels of License which is fine, but I have a question:
What if my article is up and several people buy the basic Usage, but then someone purchases the Unique license. If several people have already bought the Usage then surely the Unique would then be invalid? The same goes for Full Rights?
And finally, could I then post it on my own site and someone still purchase the Unique license for my article?
Just wanted all this cleared up. Hopefully I've explained it well enough.

Re: License questions
Hi,
Once the article sells for usage, all other licensing options are removed automatically. At that point, it can only be sold for usage and you could then use it as well on your own site or elsewhere.

PS - I moved the topic to Writers/Authors Questions & Answers. The original spot where you posted is the customer's section of the forum.

Excellent thanks. I wasn't quite sure as it was also to do with payment.Celeste Stewart wrote:PS - I moved the topic to Writers/Authors Questions & Answers. The original spot where you posted is the customer's section of the forum.
And thanks for clearing that up. It wasn't really covered by the FAQ's

Hi Wolfe and welcome to CC. I'm in the UK too. Just thought I'd warn you of a couple of things, in case you hadn't picked them up.
If you submit with all three licences, you can't use it on your website as well, at least not until it has sold for usage only, as Celeste mentioned. You can submit with a usage only price if your work has been published elsewhere, as long as the byline is the same as you use here, or it is under your real name also registered here. It must be clear that you are the author, otherwise it will be rejected for plagiarism.
