Newbie looking for help!

Post by Bibeau »

Hi! I'm trying to get into writing. It's always been a hobby of mine, so I wanted to start doing it online. I heard this was a good website. So, I just write something up, drop it in a category, and repeat? Is that basically how this works? We wait until (hopefully) a publisher sees what we wrote and likes it?

Yes, that's it in a nutshell. But of course, there's more to it. Make sure to read the guidelines carefully because Constant-Content's reviewers are extremely finnicky. Also, take a look at the public requests. These are publishers who need content. They're an open call, so several writers may be writing articles hoping to make a sale or two. However, many of these customers want multiple articles. If yours isn't picked, it goes into the general pool where other customers may pick it up.

Good luck! Take your time and feel free to ask us all questions.
