Rejected Article - no further comments provided...

Post by johnsinit »

Dear CC editors!
I would like to know why was my article (attached - please, unzip) rejected.
I had rejections at CC earlier - but there always have been comments, so I could correct and resubmit.
This time, however, noting specific was said...
Please, clarify...
Sincerely yours,
John Sinitsky.

John, I'm not an editor but I don't think it's wise to put your article as an attachment file here. This forum is open to the public, so anyone can just come in here and download it, which would no longer make the article unique if it was accepted when you resubmit. Besides, there's a risk it might carry a computer virus. Not that I'm accusing you, but common sense would dictate not to open an attachment file from a stranger, so I don't think the eds will open that one either.

I've always had an explanation with my own rejection letters. Sometimes it's just a short blurb so there's a sense that you might miss it. Maybe you can recheck the rejection notice again? If not, try to contact the eds through support since they don't seem to frequent the forums anymore. Sorry to hear bout your rejection. Better luck next time.

I'd check it over very carefully and resubmit. Maybe someone hit the reject button by accident. Maybe the automated originality checker kicked it out.
