Marketing Your Constant-Content Articles

Post by karrie1908 »

Hi all,

I was wondering what,if anything, other writers are doing to market their CC content. Do people simply post and wait for sales? Are they using social networking? Blogging? What are some of the ways people use to increase their sales and drive buyers to their content? I'm just curious.

Thanks,
Karrie

I'm curious too. I tried to put mine on Twitter but something went wrong.

I do nothing to market my articles in particular. I do promote the site generally - on line and off line. I even saw a public request for an article on garden spots in Vancouver and Victoria that came directly from one of my contacts (hope he got what he was looking for as it was going in an actual print mag). I'd save article promotion for your revenue share articles out there.

I do think that it is probably a good idea to market articles. I will try to be more focused next year and work
harder at marketing.

CC does a good job of marketing our articles so we don't have to. That's what the 35% goes towards....so our time is better spent writing!
