I had an article rejected because of one minor typo and some minor grammatical errors (which I didn't think were really errors). The editor encouraged me to revise and resubmit. Unfortunately, I lost some data last night for unavoidable reasons, and one of the data was my copy of the article. Is there anything that can be done to obtain a copy of the article from C-C, or is it now gone forever?

As far as I know, articles that have been rejected are purged from the CC system so CC wouldn't have a copy of your article. Sorry about your data loss...
