Issues With Constant-Content Mailing System

Post by ConstantEric »

Hi everyone,

This is Eric from the Constant-Content team here. I wanted to pop in and explain some issues we had with the Constant-Content Mailing system this week.

We had a brief outage of our mail server on Wednesday, Dec 1 that caused many of the notifications we normally send to customers and authors to not be sent. As their delivery was failing, the system kept attempting to send them, causing a big backlog of repeat notifications that the system was sending out to customers once the server was back up. To fix this we had to clear out the queue of emails the mail transfer agent was going to send.

As a result, you may find that some mails you would normally be sent won't be delivered to your personal email accounts for the last few days. All of the messages will still be in your inbox on your Constant-Content account, so please login to your account to view any messages from the last few days. The problem is fixed now, and the mail system should be functioning normally moving forward.

Apologies for the inconvenience here, and please contact support if you continue to experience any further issues with the mailing system.

Take care,

Eric

Eric, I submitted an article to TWO very similar requests. That was after editors took six days to approve it because of the four-day weekend. I'm concerned that the customer has given up waiting or has not been informed of the article. Can you please look into it?
